Occupy Wall Streeters Find Love & Get Married at Zuccotti Park
That's exactly what happened for Occupy Wall Street protestors, Emery Abdel-Latif, 24, and Micha Balon, 19, who met when both were searching for a place to pray in New York's Zuccotti Park. After meeting less than six weeks ago, the Muslim couple tied the knot on Sunday at the demonstration site.
"Neither of us believed in love before we came here, and now that we found each other, we believe it exists," Abdel-Latif told the New York Daily News. "When I came up here, this was the farthest thing from my mind but it's happening. I'm just happy."
