You have to ask yourself, what is more important to you; the sex, or actually being his girlfriend. After you’ve made that decision for yourself, you will have to approach the relationship that way. Many guys like dating around because, since you’re not their girlfriend, they are free to do whatever they want. They think, "So what I didn't call her today. I don't have to because she is not my girl" or “I don't need to see her every week because she is not my girl. We are just fucking".
So YOU need to know what you want from him, and then let him know. If you are just having sex, but you want more (like him calling you every day and taking you out to dinner), you can ask him for it. But he may not be willing to do whatever you ask him for because you’re not his girlfriend.
Guys know this. They know that agreeing to be your fuck buddy is not the same as agreeing to be your boyfriend. If he is your fuck buddy, he doesn’t have to call or see you on a regular basis. He hasn’t agreed to anything beyond sex. If you ask him for more, he doesn’t have to comply because you are not his girlfriend.
